Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet, alternating with buttermilk, mixing until just combined.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth for the filling.
- Gently fold blueberries into the batter.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Spread cream cheese mixture over the batter, then top with remaining batter.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool before slicing and serving. Garnish with additional blueberries if desired.
