- 2 cups cooked macaroni
- 1 lb cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine cooked macaroni, shredded chicken, barbecue sauce, cheddar cheese, milk, and butter. Mix well.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with olive oil and sprinkle evenly over the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
Notes
For extra flavor, add chopped green onions or sliced jalapenos before baking. Use pre-cooked chicken for convenience.
