Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chopped peeled apples
  • ½ cup caramel sauce
  • ¼ cup sea salt or flaky sea salt
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to create crust.
  2. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Stir in vanilla.
  3. Fold in chopped apples and half of the caramel sauce. Pour over crust.
  4. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool completely.
  5. Mix sour cream and powdered sugar, spread over cooled cheesecake. Drizzle remaining caramel sauce and sprinkle sea salt on top.
  6. Chill for at least 4 hours before serving. Garnish with apple slices if desired.
