  • 1 large egg

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add egg and vanilla, mix until combined.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing well.
  6. Fold in dried cherries and chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cookies are set but still chewy.
  9. While cookies cool, heat heavy cream and pour over chocolate chips to make ganache.
  10. Drizzle ganache over cooled cookies before serving.
