- 1 ½ cups breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (for spraying)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Cut chicken breasts into strips appropriate for tenders.
- Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with seasoned breadcrumbs.
- Dip each chicken strip into flour, then into egg, then coat thoroughly with breadcrumbs.
- Place breaded chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly spray the tops with olive oil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway through.
