Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless chicken breasts
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and mushrooms. Sauté until mushrooms are tender, about 5 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine. Simmer until sauce thickens slightly, about 4 minutes.
- Return chicken to skillet, spoon mushroom sauce over it, and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Use fresh mushrooms for the best flavor.
- Adjust thickness of sauce by adding more cream or simmering longer.
- Pair with rice or mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
