- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
- Stir in minced garlic and sliced mushrooms, cooking until mushrooms are tender.
- Add ground beef, cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Sprinkle flour over beef mixture, stirring to combine and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in beef broth, stirring continuously until sauce thickens.
- Reduce heat to low, stir in sour cream, and season with salt and pepper.
- Simmer for a few minutes until heated through. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- Ensure not to boil after adding sour cream to prevent curdling.
- Serve over cooked egg noodles or rice for a complete meal.
