  • 8 oz spaghetti or linguine
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Cook until sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Return shrimp to the skillet, toss to coat in the sauce, then add cooked pasta. Mix well.
