Ingredients

- 8 oz spaghetti or linguine
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Cook until sauce thickens slightly.
- Return shrimp to the skillet, toss to coat in the sauce, then add cooked pasta. Mix well.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley and lemon wedges.
Notes
- Feel free to substitute seafood with chicken for a different variation.
- Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
