- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 7-9 minutes.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickened slightly.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat evenly with the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a squeeze of lemon juice.
- You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
