Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into chunks
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch ginger, grated
  • 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix yogurt, lemon juice, garam masala, turmeric, cumin, salt, and pepper to create marinade.
  2. Marinate chicken in the mixture for at least 1 hour.
  3. Heat oil in a pan; cook chicken until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, sauté onion, garlic, and ginger until fragrant.
  5. Add tomato sauce and cook for 10 minutes on medium heat.
  6. Stir in heavy cream, then return chicken to the pan.
  7. Simmer for 10 minutes until sauce thickens. Serve hot with rice or naan.
