- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook rice according to package instructions; set aside.
- In a skillet, cook ground beef with chopped onion and minced garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked rice, cooked beef mixture, soup, half of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella, milk, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Top with remaining shredded cheeses.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and cheese is golden.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy!

- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for beef for a leaner version.
