- 1 cup fresh blackberries
- 2 oz dark rum
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1 oz simple syrup
- Ice cubes
- Blackberries and mint for garnish
Instructions
- Place blackberries in a shaker and muddle until well crushed.
- Add rum, lemon juice, simple syrup, and ice cubes to the shaker.
- Shake vigorously until well chilled.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with fresh blackberries and a sprig of mint.
Notes
For a sweeter drink, add more simple syrup. Use fresh blackberries for the best flavor. Can be made ahead and kept chilled.
