- 12 store-bought or homemade dumplings (potstickers)
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup chopped bok choy
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the broth over medium heat and add garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Bring to a simmer.
- Add mushrooms and bok choy, cook for 5 minutes until vegetables are tender.
- Gently place the dumplings into the broth and cook for 3–4 minutes until heated through and crispy on the bottom.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- Can use frozen dumplings; cook slightly longer if necessary.
- Add extra vegetables like snap peas or carrots for variety.
